    Scholarship Benefits:
    The JJ/WBGSP provides economy class air travel, a travel allowance, full tuition coverage, basic medical insurance, and a monthly subsistence allowance. However, it’s crucial to note that certain expenses, such as visa fees, family support, and extra-curricular courses, are not covered. The scholarship duration is for the graduate program or a maximum of two years, whichever is shorter.

    The scholarship is available for master’s programs at universities in Japan, the USA, and Africa. Proficiency in English, a Bachelor’s degree with at least three years of work experience, and current full-time employment related to development are among the eligibility criteria. Applicants must have received unconditional admission to one of the preferred master’s programs at JJ/WBGSP-affiliated universities outside their country of citizenship and residence.

    Interested candidates should follow a two-step application process. Firstly, apply for admission to a Partner Masters Degree Program, and secondly, create an account on the scholarship website. The application windows for 2024 are as follows:
    – Window #1: January 16 to February 28, 2024
    – Window #2: March 27 to May 26, 2024
