    Scholarship application details

    Once you have applied to study at LJMU you will be given access to the applicant area of our website. Here you will find information on scholarships available to you, how to apply, terms and conditions and the deadlines, etc.

    Student requirements

    Open to: UK (home) or ROI students

    Not open to: Students who already have an honours degree, international students, students on a course that attracts additional funding via the NHS Learner Support Fund, postgraduate students.

    Who should apply?

    You must have LJMU as your first choice (firm) via UCAS

    In recognition of Sir Bert Massie, who was a national disability rights champion and former student of LJMU. We are looking to award a scholarship to an outstanding disabled student who has campaigned or championed inclusion in some way.

    Applications will be selected from evidence submitted in the form of references, personal statement and if shortlisted, an interview.

    The final interview stage will look to select those that are most likely to succeed on their course.

    You must be an outstanding student who will act as an ambassador for LJMU
